The fluted shape of this bowl takes it form from the Iris petals, France's national flower. The Iris, or Fleur-de-lis, has been used to represent French royalty since the 13th century and is said to signify perfection, light and life.
The unique finish is created from a two step reactive glaze process. Some variations in the colour can be expected.
